Shirley Jane Barnhill

Shirley Jane Barnhill, 82, of Siler City, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Born in Cumberland County, Shirley was the daughter of the late James Vance & Bessie Jane Gales Brown.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Alvin Brown, sister, Elizabeth Driggers and a brother, Jimmy Brown.

She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Locklear & husband James; two sons, Gummery E. Barnhill, Jr. & wife Sharron and Michael Wayne Barnhill; six grandchildren, Rickie Jones & wife Nikki, Brittney Jones, Chasity Barnhill, Joshua Neal Barnhill, Keanu Barnhill, and Christopher Jones; four great grandchildren, Codie Jones, Bentley Jones, Mason Jones, and Layke Jones; four sisters, Sylvia Smith, Margie Brown, Mary Mason, and Margaret Hardin; brother, Larry Brown; and a host of other family and friends.

She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
