Sylvia Jean Faircloth, 79, of Hope Mills, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, in her home with family by her side.
Born on March 5, 1947, in Cumberland County, Sylvia was the daughter of the late Albert Lee and Ruby Britt Lee. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William "Buddy" Faircloth; daughter, Geneva Horne; and several brothers and sisters.
Sylvia is survived by her son, Lattie Horne III and wife Tracy; daughter, Tonya Hammond and husband Anthony; two sisters, Aleta Sue and Joan; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other extended family and friends.
Sylvia will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
