Thomas "Tommy" Marvin Sweat

Thomas "Tommy" Sweat, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away peacefully Monday, October 26, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Tommy was born in Dillon, SC, but spent most of his life in Fayetteville, NC, and was employed in the heating & air business.

He was a cherished father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed spending time with family, raising chickens and was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow & Gladys Sweat; brothers, Bobby Sweat, Lynn Sweat & Eddie Sweat; and granddaughter, Emily Marie Boahn.

He is survived by daughters, Tabitha Boahn & husband Ricky and Heather Beres & husband Ryan; grandchildren, Amber Boahn, Hayley Nuse & husband Claeton, Ricky Boahn, Jr. & Hensley Beres.
