Uneeda L. McCowan was born July 15, 1931 in Pembroke, NC to the late Henry Joe and Mary Locklear. She passed into eternal rest Friday, May 21, 2010 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
Uneeda retired from civil service at Fort Bragg as a seamstress.
Among the many that will morn her passing are her children, Robert M. Hunt, Jackie N. Hunt, Marsha Ortiz, Marilyn Bundas, Robert A. Hunt, David E. Hunt, Charles P. McCowan; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and a multitude of extended family and friends.
