Virginia Melvin

Virginia Faye Melvin of Hope Mills passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010 at her home. She was born January 8, 1935 to the late Frank Dewey and Ida Elizabeth Parker Gregory.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harold T. Melvin.

Virginia is survived by four daughters, Virginia Anne Turner of Enterprise, Ala., Elizabeth Irene Milne of Stuart Fla., Georgia Dale Brown, and Randy Kay Melvin both of Fayetteville; four sons, Harold Melvin Jr., Anoll Franklin Melvin, Royce Alexander Melvin all of Fayetteville and Neil Robert Melvin of Tokyo, Japan; three sisters, Emily Underwood, Ellen Hair both of Sanford, NC and Carolyn Melvin of Hope Mills; twenty-five grandchildren, and thirty-0ne great grandchildren.
