Whalon Stevis Morrison, 73, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
He was born on April 12, 1940, in New Hill, NC, to the late Whalon and Bessie Stewart Morrison.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Pinecrest Funeral and Cremation Services in Hope Mills. NC.
A graveside service, with Pastor Bruce Suggs officiating, will be held at 12 noon Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Cape Fear Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Whalon leaves to cherish his memory, his son Bruce Morrison; daughter, Tina Morrison Dicke; sister, Gloria Lowery; brother, Stanley Morrison; and three grandchildren.
Whalon was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
